It’s not often we discuss off-topic events, but seeing as this was for charity we wanted to blog about an amazing day out at Willow Valley Golf Club.
Arranged by Vodafone regional management and promoting HTC Smartphones, this event was organised to raise funds for the fantastic SANDS charity (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society).
Employees and partners of Vodafone UK were invited to take part in 2 rounds of Golf at the lovely but challenging Willow Valley near Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
As the Vino representative I would like to apologise for my first round performance, but a second round 85 regained some credibility! Rain intervened at the very end of the day to ensure a dripping wet drive back to Sheffield…
With ticket sales, raffle and Vodafone’s matched contribution the total donation should just be in excess of £4000, a great amount of money raised for the important SANDS charity.
