Google Personalization Quiz for Google Offers

The Google Offers feature is taking a step forward, according to a new Google official blog post. The Google Personalization Quiz as they put it, gives the opportunity to get right down to the deals you want. This is obviously in direct response to the increasing number of Offers and Daily Deals providers, especially in the US.

By partnering up with selected deal providers, starting in the San Francisco area, Google can now claim to be the only one-stop-shop for the very best deals on offer. The 3rd party partners include those offering everything from food and drink, sporting goods and pampering gifts.

The post makes an obvious statement that without Groupon onboard (after the failed takeover proposal earlier this year), they intend to try and gain marketshare very quickly, even if this means using Groupon’s direct competitors to do so.

Selected partners include: Dealfind, DoodleDeals, Gilt City, GolfNow, HomeRun, Juice in the City, kgbdeals, Mamapedia, Plum District, PopSugar Shop, ReachDeals, Active.com Schwaggle, TIPPR and zozi.

The main aim is to make it easier to see the right deals in one place, something you have the opportunity to personalize via your Google account (the Google Personalization Quiz).
